Welcoming 2026 Together: A Personal Note from Me to You
Let me start this blog with a letter I am writing from the heart:
How are you arriving at this moment?
Maybe you're feeling hopeful and energized. Or maybe you're still catching your breath after the whirlwind of the holidays. However you're landing in this fresh new year, I want you to know, you’re not behind. You’re not late. You’re right on time.
As we step into 2026, the team at Mindful Creative Muse is pausing to reflect, with full hearts, on the year we’ve shared with you.
Over the past twelve months, we’ve painted, journaled, meditated, and grown together. We’ve witnessed beautiful breakthroughs in our courses and teacher trainings, exchanged stories in our community circles, and shared countless quiet moments of mindful art that softened the edges of hard days.
Together, we’ve explored what it means to slow down. To listen inward. To express freely. To sit with grief, celebrate joy, and return to the present moment, one breath, one brushstroke, one gentle pause at a time.
And whether this is your very first visit to our creative space or you’ve been walking this path with us for years, I want you to know: you are a vital part of this unfolding journey. Your presence, your practice, your willingness to show up with curiosity and courage, it’s what brings this work to life.
So thank you. Thank you for being here. For making space for yourself and others. For trusting in the quiet power of creativity, and for believing that mindfulness and art together can help heal hearts, reconnect communities, and nourish the soul.
At Mindful Creative Muse, we’re welcoming 2026 with softness and curiosity. This is not a time to pressure ourselves with lofty resolutions or hustle toward perfection. Instead, we’re choosing a different rhythm, one rooted in reflection, self-compassion, and creative intention.
To support you as you enter this new season, I’ve gathered some of our latest offerings: inspiring blog posts, heart-centered interviews, a soul-nourishing New Year workshop, and loving practices you can return to all year long. Whether you’re beginning your mindful art journey or deepening your teaching and facilitation, I hope these resources offer you a sense of grounding, clarity, and creative possibility.
May this be the year we continue to grow, together.
May mindful art ripple outward, reaching the hearts and hands of those who need it most.
And may you always remember: your creativity is enough. Your presence is enough. You are enough.

It invites you to release the weight of perfectionism and explore the quiet magic of mindful musing. Discover how simply making space for creativity, even just a few minutes a day, can help you reconnect to your inner spark, deepen your self-awareness, and rediscover joy in the process, not the product.
Healing Through Colors and Lines: The Magic of Mindful Art Journaling
If your heart feels tender from the past year, or you’re seeking a gentle way to pause and listen inward, this blog is for you. In it, I share how simple art journaling practices can become your safe space for emotional clarity, healing, and quiet reflection. No art experience is needed—just a willingness to show up with curiosity and compassion. Through color, texture, and line, you’ll learn how to meet yourself exactly where you are.
Each post was written with love and intention, drawing from what so many of you have shared about your own mindful art journeys. I hope you find something inside them that speaks to your heart, wherever you are right now.

Podcast: Navigating the New Year with Compassion and Creativity
In this roundtable conversation, I reflect on real-life topics many of us face: how the inner critic gets in our way, what it means to create without needing a perfect result, and how mindful art helps both children and adults regulate emotions and reconnect.
Want to skip to my reflections? Here are a few highlights:
6:39–9:13 — How the Inner Critic holds us back from following heart-centered goals
16:06–18:44 — Why I practice Mindful Art and how it helps us focus on the process, not the outcome.
40:45–44:40 — Supporting children with analog art and helping them self-regulate
44:42–46:40 — Using art as a mirror for self-connection and personal growth

May 2026 Be a Year of Mindfulness and Creativity, of Healing and Growth
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need the perfect planner, the perfect routine, or the perfect version of yourself to begin again.
What if this year, instead of pushing or rushing, you gave yourself permission to start slowly, with tenderness, with curiosity, and with deep trust in your own unfolding?
At Mindful Creative Muse, we believe that every small act of creativity is a radical act of self-care and courage. Whether you're painting in silence, scribbling in your art journal before bed, leading a group through a heart-centered activity, or simply breathing through a hard moment—you are doing meaningful, beautiful work.
Your creativity doesn’t have to be grand to be powerful.
Your process doesn’t have to be perfect to be sacred.
You don’t have to be anything other than exactly who you are.
This year, may you trust your rhythms.
May you honor your pauses.
May you return, again and again, to the quiet wisdom of your creative heart.
We’re so grateful you’re part of this growing, supportive community. Your presence here matters. Your voice matters. And your art, however it shows up, has the power to heal, connect, and transform.
Wishing you a year filled with soft beginnings, brave expression, and gentle, joyful self-discovery.
And as always, from all of us at Mindful Creative Muse:
Happy creating.
